Joan M. Richards, age 85, of Robinson Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Born on August 17, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, Joan was the daughter of the late Ruth (Koll) Brisbin. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Richards, Sr., and a devoted mother to Jay (Amber) Richards. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Sandy Brannon and Vicky Richards.

Joan was a cherished grandmother to Amber (Douglas) Horning, Tim Brannon, Stefanie Brannon, Mindy (Doug) Bergman, and Heather (Alex) Kronz, and a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Joan to Union Presbyterian Church, 6165 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
