JoAnn Geraldine Kaufman, 77, of Finleyville, PA formerly of South Park, PA passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 31, 2026. Born on March 30, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA she is daughter of the late Thomas and Ernestine Lansel.
Beloved wife to Norman Kaufman with whom she shared 49 years of marriage; Loving mother to Thomas Abate (Ron Straw), Jayson, Kelsey (Ian McDonough), David, Leah, Wyatt (Katalina Ramirez), Christine, Skylar, Cherie, and Adam Kaufman; Sister to Jeanette (the late Larry) Vaira; Grandmother or Grama Jo to Colton Abate, Gi Gi to Lochlain and Stellan McDonough.
She is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Abate.
JoAnn was an exceptional mother whose life centered around her family. She was a constant source of love, comfort, and care to all who knew her.
