Dear Mike -- I'm terribly sorry to hear about Joanne's passing. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting her, the testament given by her obituary reflects that she was a wonderful, remarkable, incredibly accomplished woman. Thank God for that! My deepest condolences to you, Halley, and all of your extended family. I will be keeping you all in my prayers. May Joanne be given rest in the mansions of the righteous, and may her memory be eternal!

Dearest Mike and Family, My deepest Sympathy and condolences to all of you. How sad I was to read the email from our St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox choir treasurer Alyssa about JoAnne’s passing, as my heart broke for Mike who has been such a great, loyal friend for our choir. But after reading the obituary, I felt a devastating blow for humanity as JoAnne was such a shining star while here on Earth. She sure used her talents and treasures wisely while with us. We must always remember the countless lives she saved in so many ways! May her loving and giving spirit be a balm to all who hold her memory dear. Vjecnaja Pamjat! Mim Bizic
