John was one of ATF’s best partners. I was fortunate to have known and worked with him. When you entered a room he was in, he made it a point to welcome you with a smile and a handshake. John was a true gentleman and he will be missed. Condolences to his family, friends and co workers

Extending my deepest sympathy to the family of John Piasecki in the loss of your husband, Father and loved one. John was always a pleasant and funny guy to be around and was a great person and asset as a law enforcement partner. He spent so much time in the Pittsburgh office of the FBI that he should have been given a Bureau badge although the badge that he carried was just as important as one from the FBI. Glad that he was able to attend the FBI National Academy in the past and use that training throughout his long and successful law enforcement career. Rest in peace my friend as you will be missed by your loving family as well as the many fellow law enforcement officers who had the privilege to work along side of you. God speed. John was a great man, public servant, and law enforcement professional. He had an uncanny understanding of life and he taught all of us at The Office of Attorney General through his example. I have nothing but the deepest respect for John and sincere sympathy to his family.
