John C. Waddell, Jr.

John C. Waddell, Jr., age 76, passed away on August 23, 2024.

Beloved husband and loving caretaker of Kathleen Rose (Radtke) Waddell.

Born on July 31, 1948, in McKees Rocks, PA, he is son of the late Mary and John C. Waddell, Sr.

Loving father of  Melissa Waddell and Andrea (Matt) Cavanaugh, ; step-father of Renee (Matt) Loll, and Jill (Mehmet) Demirci; brother of Barbara (Peter) Kitt; and grandfather of Kenzie, Emily, AJ, Leah, Ryan, Marc and Luke.

John was an avid sports fan, supporting all of the Pittsburgh teams. He enjoyed betting on horses as well as sipping bourbon. He tried to never miss any of his grandchildren’s activities, always supporting them from the sidelines.

Above all else, he was a thoughtful listener and compassionate caretaker.
