John J Kadonick (KD), of Canonsburg, formerly of Vestaburg passed away on January 30, 2026. He will be greeted in heaven by his only son Johnny S Kadonick and the love of his life Denise Monica who both passed in 2022.

Born on April 28, 1958, he was son of late Frances Keys Kadonick and John S Kadonick.

John is survived by his daughter Krystle Adams; son in law Jamie Adams; Grandchildren Brayden Adams, Kayla and Zach Adams;  Stepchildren Tiffany (Jeremiah) Bell and Frank (Sabra) Monica; Sister, Cynthia Popielarczyk husband John (Boobie); Nieces, Melanie (John) White & Chelsey White.

In addition to his Parents and grandparents, he is preceded in death by Nephew, Cordell Popielarczyk.

John graduated Beth Center in 1976. KD was a master carpenter who could fix, remodel and build anything.  He amassed a large collection of tools over the years that he made sure to keep every single one-some in coffee cans, some in old Tupperware containers to “pass down his legacy to Jamie and Brayden” as he loved to say.

He was the king of dad jokes, knew every single trivia answer, made the best ham and even better gravy.  He loved talking sports and playing games with his grandson Brayden.

He recently moved in with his daughter, son in law and grandson and they cherished every moment they had with him and will miss him everyday.

A memorial service will be held on February 9, 2026 at 5 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.

Krystle, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your dad. I didn’t know him well but when our paths crossed at family gatherings he was always so kind and spoke so highly of you and your family. And I know Denise loved him tremendously. I hope it gives you some comfort that they’re finally together again. I wish I knew a magic word or phrase that could lift some of the heartache I imagine you’re feeling right now. My personal piece of advice is to look for the “god winks.” My dad sends them to me now and again to remind me he’s still here with me and I know KD will send some your way, too. Please know we think of you as an extension of our family ❤️
