John R. Colpo, 82, of Burgettstown, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born in Pittsburgh on April 1, 1940, the son of the late Geno and Lena Colpo. John was a teacher and a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. He was also a member of St. Isadore the Farmer Parish, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, the Burgettstown Italian Club, and a volunteer at the food bank.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rita M. Colpo; sons, Chris J. and Daniel J. (Gretchen) Colpo; brother, Gene (Marilyn) Colpo; grandchildren, Grace and Connor Colpo; brother-in-law, John Lounder, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Dr. Jennifer Colpo and Gina (Christopher) Tarr, Johnny (Paula) and Adam (Geneva) Lounder; great nieces and nephews, Eli, Anna, and Samuel Tarr, Maria, Anthony, Grant and AJ Lounder; and many cousins.
