I was a Transtar customer of Jon's for many many years, We talked on the phone almost daily. We will miss Jon's unique dry sense of humor. I can't tell you how many times we laughed and poked fun at each other, espicially over the Bengals and Steelers Rivalry. He will be sorely missed. Jon was a Solid dude for sure.

I’ll always miss you, uncle Jonathan (or aunt Jonathan, like I’ve always called you as a joke since I was probably about seven years old). I’m not going to say any dirty vulgar words on here, but that’s something we always did and just laugh and laugh at the nastiest things that we could think of saying. I honestly think that’s an Ament thing that most Aments do. It’ll be a year since you passed this September, and I just can’t believe it. We didn’t get enough time with you. My husband, John needed more time with you, and so did I. You’ve always been my second dad, and I’ll always miss your laugh and your big hugs, and your advice. You always made sure that your kids, wife, my dad, Kristen, Jackson, and I, and all your other nieces and nephews knew that you loved them. You’d randomly tell us sometimes that you loved us, and I miss hearing you say that so much!I so wish you could’ve walked me down the aisle on my wedding day two years ago, and I know you would’ve loved to. You were so shocked and had to make sure I wasn’t joking around with you when I asked you if you would and if you could make it. You loved the fact that you were favorite uncle. I’ll miss hearing you playing with Jackson and laughing at the silly things that he used to do as a little boy (even though Jack’s not a little boy anymore).
