Joseph A. Pace of Robinson Township passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the age of 86. He was born on the North Side March 9, 1934 and was the son of the late Samuel M. and Mary J. Pace.

Husband of the late Barbara S. Pace; beloved father of Laura (Myles) Pace Lilley; grandfather of Harrison Lilley; brother of Barbara Jean (Fred) Pace, Michael (Karen) Pace and the late Samuel (Nancy) Pace; also, several nieces and nephews.

Joseph proudly served in the Army National Guard, and then the U.S. Coast Guard, Pacific Theatre, during the Korean War. He worked for several decades for Dravo Corporation, retiring as plant maintenance supervisor, and was a volunteer for the Robinson Township American Legion Post 862. He was an expert marksman.

A private burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where military honors will be held at a later date.
