Joseph J. Bondi

On Friday, May 1, 2026, Joseph J. Bondi, age 90, passed away. He was beloved husband of the late Jean M. Bondi; loving father of Janine Diulus (Matthew) and the late Gregory Bondi (Jeanne); proud and devoted grandfather of Olivia, Elena, Evan, Marina, Anton and Genna Diulus, Amelia Bonsmann (Zachary), Hannah Bondi, and the late Caroline Bondi; great grandfather of Rowan Bonsman. Joe was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired employee of PennDOT. He was a dedicated Pittsburgh sports fan and an avid golfer who found great joy spending time on the golf course with his many friends, but especially his son and two grandsons. Nothing brought Joe more happiness than time spent with his family. Whether he was making breakfast for his grandchildren, playing card games, driving them to school, or teaching them how to drive, he treasured every moment with them. He will be dearly missed. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at St. Alexis Church, Wexford, at 10:00AM
