Joseph Michael Pittman, 59, of Washington, PA formerly of Raleigh, NC passed away on July 25, 2021 in his home surrounded by family. Born February 17, 1962 in Burlington, NC, he was the son of the late Linda Irene Pittman and Kenneth Charles Pittman. Joe was an incredibly talented craftsman. During his lifelong career in construction he left his mark on numerous projects in the Raleigh Triangle area and it was often through home improvement projects that he would spend time bonding and passing along his skills and knowledge to his children. He and his brother in law, Kelly Lucas, founded their first construction company Triangle Trim in 1992. Later he became a contractor and founded Triangle Traditional Homes before going on to work for Stackhouse, LLC. Joe had a great sense of humor and was a lively storyteller. He believed in hard work and took pride in all his accomplishments. From a young age, Joe enjoyed racing and working on cars. As a young adult, he and his friends would often compete in races at Wake County Speedway. He loved billiards pool and played in a league for several years, his children and their spouses later joined and would get together for weekly matches and to spend time together. His favorite place to vacation was Las Vegas.

Joseph is survived by his loving partner Cathleen Ann Bundy, with whom he spent over 25 years sharing their lives and hearts, his children Joie Pittman White (Robert White), Cheryl Ann Hayworth (Ryan Hayworth), Thomas Saul Pittman (Lindsey Pittman), their sister Patricia Haley Sleeter (Matthew Sleeter), his sister Kendy Pittman Lucas (Kelly Lucas), and grandchildren Taylor Pittman, Taylor Leigh Murphy, Kyle Murphy, Charlotte Hayworth, Ainsley Lucille Hayworth, Caroline Hayworth, and Jacob Dylan White, nieces Katie Lucas Brown and Kayla Lucas Janicek, his beloved German Shepherd dog Dega, and so many loving friends and coworkers.
