Joseph Mitchell

Joseph Mitchell, Sr. age 96, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and formerly of Georgetown, South Carolina passed peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Born on December 24, 1923 to Jospeh Mitchell and Carrie Ford, he was the beloved husband of the late Daisy Mitchell; Loving father of Stephen Mitchell (deceased), Joseph Mitchell, Jr (deceased), and Gregory Mitchell. Joseph lived life to the fullest always maintaining a positive outlook. He was a very spiritual man. His philosophy was to love each other and “Always put God first”. He had the ability to put a smile on everyone’s face with his witty sayings and jokes. He will be truly missed by all. He is survived by host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Private arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
