Joseph Stanley Zajac

Joseph Stanley Zajac, 78, of Peters Township, PA passed away on January 20, 2026. He was born on April 5, 1947, and was the beloved child of the late Frank and Catherine Zajac.

Joseph will be remembered for his great sense of humor and easygoing personality. He always greeted everyone with a smile and wave. He loved sports, especially watching the Steelers and going to Harlem Globetrotters games. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, playing games, and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a dedicated skilled laborer at South Park Golf Course for over 25 years.

He is survived by his daughters, Dawna Mozes (Fritz Wherry Jr.) and Holly Gastgeb (Ron); his son Brian Zajac (Alaina); and his grandchildren Teriann Fife, Nicole Fife, Monica Fife, Leanna Mozes, Violet Zajac, and Lila Zajac. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michele Fife, his sister, Bernadette Takach, and his step-granddaughter, Katelynn Mozes.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
