I'd like to think Joe lived a full life,,,he showed that to me visiting Monterey. I liked him a lot,,,no regrets.

My sincere condolences to the Neiport family. Joe and I were best friends thru high school and played in several bands together. Great friend and great drummer! We had a blast during those years. In the late 70's I moved on from Pittsburgh and we lost contact. Fortunately, through Paul Wank, we reconnected several years ago. We had a great evening together in the burg and even jammed some with the former band members of Blaze. I will sorely miss Joe. I loved him as a brother. He will be a huge loss to all that as known him. Rest in peace and with no more pain, brother.

My sincere condolences to the Neiport family. Joe and I were best friends through high school and played in several bands together. Great friend and great drummer. In the late 70's, I moved on from Pittsburgh and we lost the connection. Several years ago we reconnected and spent a great evening reliving past memories with several past bandmates. We even got Joe back on the drums. I will sorely miss him. Rest in peace brother.

My deepest condolences to the family of one of the best drummers of our time. Remember meeting Joe a long time ago. I too attended the night with Joe and the other bandmates, it was if we never missed a beat in our friendship. He will be missed but remembered. May he rest in peace.
