Joshua S. Jodikinos

“Josh” Stephen Jodikinos, 34, of Ross Township, passed away suddenly on June 5, 2026. Born on November 10, 1991, Josh brought joy, laughter, and a bright spark into the world from the very beginning.  

Josh was the beloved son of Jami Jodikinos and the late Albert Jodikinos. Jami’s partner, Gene Royle, also held a meaningful place in Josh’s life. He was preceded in death by his father Albert, his “Pap” James Christoff, and his grandmother Sandy Christoff, all of whom he loved deeply. 

Josh is survived by the love of his life, his devoted wife Natalee (Hixenbaugh) Jodikinos, with whom he shared countless adventures, Myrtle Beach trips, and a home filled with warmth, laughter, and good cooking. He is also survived by his mother Jami and her partner Gene; his brother AJ (Jocelyn) Jodikinos and their children Ethan and Ellie; and his sister Maria Jodikinos (Ben Hysong) and their children Kaden and McKenna. 

Josh was also deeply loved by his extended family. He is survived by his father‑ and mother‑in‑law, Les and Sharon Hixenbaugh; his sister‑in‑law Emilee (Ryan) Kennelly and their children Nolan, Alyson, and Madalyn Kennelly; and his brother‑in‑law Andy (Ashleigh) Hixenbaugh and their son Landon Hixenbaugh. 

To his nieces and nephews—Ethan, Ellie, Kaden, McKenna, Nolan, Alyson, Madalyn, and Landon—he was proudly known as “Unk” or “Uncle Josh.” Being an uncle was one of the greatest joys of his life. He lit up around them, and they adored him in return. 

Josh had a contagious laugh, a sparkle in his eye, and a gift for lighting up any room he walked into. He was the first to lend a hand, no matter the time or place, and his presence brought comfort, humor, and a sense of ease to everyone around him. 

He loved working in the garage on their “black car” with his brother AJ, working on his Fairlane, attending the Carlisle car shows, and spending peaceful days fishing or hunting. At home, he found happiness cooking for Natalee, planning their next trip, or simply being together. His hands were skilled, his heart was generous, and his loyalty to family and friends was unwavering. 

After completing the Steamfitters apprentice program, he became a member with Local 449, helping install, maintain, and repair high‑pressure piping systems across the tri‑state area. He took great pride in his craft and his work within the trade. 

Those who knew Josh will forever remember his laughter, his kindness, his jokes, and the way he made life brighter just by being in it. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his love and memory will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched.

Friends and family are welcome on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 1:30 pm at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, 1558 State Route 168, Georgetown, PA, 15043. Please meet at the cemetery.
