Joyce A. Hess, age 76, of McDonald, PA, formerly of Neville Island, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026.

Joyce was the beloved wife of 43 years to Wayne Hess. Born on November 20, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the cherished daughter of the late Helen and Phil Wuenstel.

A devoted and loving mother, Joyce leaves behind her sons, Brandon (Debra) Hess and Zachary (Jenna) Hess. She was a proud grandmother to Ethan, Lorelei, Parker and Bentley, who brought immense joy to her life.

Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Philip Wuenstel.

She had a love for shopping, thrifting, and couponing, always delighted by a good bargain. Joyce was incredibly creative and enjoyed knitting, sewing, crafting, and beadwork, often sharing her talents with those she loved. She enjoyed a glass of wine and never turned down her favorite sweet treat, red velvet cake or cheesecake. Known for her kind heart and talkative nature, Joyce had a way of making everyone feel welcome and heard.

Joyce will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A gathering of family & friends will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA.

Wayne, Brandon and Zachary,and family, It is so hard to say goodbye to such a good friend. Im so sorry she had to go through such an awful disease. Joyce was such a genuine and special person. We will all miss her. You have my condolences.
