Karen C. Robinette

Karen C. Robinette, 66, of Wilkinsburg, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones at her side, on Thursday, August 1, 2024. She was born in Roswell, New Mexico on June 2, 1958, to King and Jean Phillips.  Karen grew up in Cleveland, but after attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh became a lifelong Pittsburgh resident.  She was an avid reader of mysteries, enjoyed true crime TV and podcasts, and loved to share her love of cooking by making delicious meals for her family. Karen is survived by her twin brother Kevin D. (Marian) Phillips;  her nephews, Anthony Phillips, Jr., Onyx (Alex) Vimes, Xan Forest Phillips; and her canine companion Molly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Anthony and Dylan Phillips. The family is extremely grateful to Karen’s neighbors and the staff of Bridges Hospice for their compassion, love, and support. Per Karen’s wishes, no services will be held. Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
