Kathleen “Kathy” Mills Lawlor, age 57, died peacefully on February 20th, 2022 in the company of her family and friends. She was born on November 4th, 1964 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Jack and Sheila Mills. She is survived by her father, son, Reagan Lawlor, a baseball player at Shippensburg University, and her husband David Lawlor, with whom she has been married for 26 years. She lives on in the hearts and minds of her siblings, brother Jeffery (Erin) Mills of Farmington, PA and sister Jennifer (Jay) Keenan of Kingsville, MD, and of her nieces and nephews, Caroline Mills, Macy Mills, Anne Mills, Julia Mills, Olivia Keenan, Alana Keenan, Noah Keenan, Ethan Keenan, Shawna Lawlor, Kyle Lawlor, Matthew Lawlor, Jake Banks, Griffin Banks, Mason Banks, Gabby Lawlor, Henry Lawlor, Olivia Lawlor, Connor Ford, Reilly Ford, Braedon Ford, and Hadleigh Lawlor. Kathy will also be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family requests that everyone remembers her and celebrates Kathy’s life in their own way. Whether that be spending a day shopping at Gabe’s or TJ Maxx, playing cards, or looking out at the ocean with a good book. Kathy was a caring mother, a loving wife, an outstanding daughter, and a loyal, tireless friend. Kathy lived a life full of smiles and laughter, full of triumph and blessings. Kathy was truly adored and the joy she brought to so many will never be forgotten.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4 PM – 6:30 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.

I was so shocked to hear about the sudden loss of Kathy. My heart and prayers are with all of the family. She will be terribly missed. Kathy was one of the many "Snowball Kids" in Monroeville who were always a joy in the neighborhood.
