Kathryn Eve Koran

Kathryn Eve Koran, age 76, of Baldwin Township, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026.

Born on May 4, 1949, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Wilda Jean Zelem. She was the beloved wife of 26 years to William J. Koran and a devoted and loving mother to her cherished cats, Mitchell and Lilley.

Kathryn is survived by her dear sisters, Jean C. (the late Patrick M.) McHugh and Virginia A. (Elmer J.) Nemeth, as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and gentle spirit.

Kathryn had a creative soul and found great joy in painting, crocheting, tending to her flowers, cooking, and reading. She dedicated over 30 years of her professional life to KDKA, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment.

Kathryn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will remain forever in their hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 12 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. Following the service, a gathering of family and friends will be held until 4 pm.
