Kenneth ‘Ken’ J. Donahue of Lawrence PA, age 83, born on May 9, 1937, in Pittsburgh, formerly of Bethel Park PA, son of the late Joseph and Ellen Donahue, beloved husband of the late Lorene ‘Rene’ Donahue, loving father of the late Jennifer Donahue, Darin Short, Todd Short (Sandi), Christian Short (Tiffany), Susan Scharff (Clint), brother of the late Dan Donahue, sister of Kathleen Blackburn, and Loretta Zehngut (Dave), grandfather of Kirsten, Jarrett, Cade, Sierra, Max, Eli, Willow, James and Hannah. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ken was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Rene, and a proud and dedicated grandfather, never missing his grandchildren’s sports and activities. He was passionate about theater, particularly Stephen Sondheim, golf, travel and literature. Ken will be greatly missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
