Kimberly “Kiki” Cuevas, age 27 of Mt. Lebanon, PA (Pittsburgh, PA) passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 5:52 AM from Metastatic Breast Cancer complications at her home in Mt Lebanon surrounded by family and friends. She was the daughter of Santos L. Cuevas and Rosa L. Cuevas.

She was a 2010 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania majoring in Anthropology as well as Pittsburgh Technology College majoring in business. Kimberly worked at El Paso Mexican Restaurant with aspirations of starting her own business. She was a strong, proud Hispanic women with a quick wit and a firecracker personality, an avid reader with a creative mind. She had a magnetic smile that would warm up any room and a laugh that penetrated any wall. Kim never complained of her situation and made the best of out if with a smile and laugh—like when she wore different, funny outfits during chemo and brought joy to everyone around her.

Kim had a strong belief in family and as a central figure, she kept them united. Her passing has left a vast void that will be to fill. Not only did her family love her, but so did anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be remembered with love and laughter: just as she would have wanted it.

Santos and Rosa, I am so sorry for the loss of Kim. I can’t imagine how you are feeling as parents. Her big smile and that sweet giggle when accessing her port will never be forgotten. I prayer that God gives you the strength to face each day . You are an amazing family and Kim will be forever in our hearts . God Bless, Nurse Betty
