Kitty was an exceptional horsewoman, even in her teens. She taught me how horses think and how to handle them properly. She was just 15 and I was 10, but she became my mentor and my idol. I'm sure I was a pesky kid. I hung on every word she uttered, and I imitated every move she made. She was intelligent, strong, and beautiful -- she looked like Annette Funicello when she was a teen. Kitty was everything I aspired to be. I went on to become a professional in the horse industry, training racehorses and writing for trade publications. And I realized my dream of having a horse farm in Kentucky. I owe my wonderful career and life to her. I'm grieving terribly over losing Kitty, but I know she is able to ride like the wind once again.

Kitty was a high school classmate. She was always friendly and had a smile for everyone. My sympathy to all who loved her and will miss her. May God bless you and give you peace.

I met Kitty and Frank when they lived in Tulsa, OK. They were regular customers at my WBU Nature Shop. They became more than customers to my late husband, Ronnie, and me. We enjoyed getting together with them in Pennsylvania in 2014. Kitty was a friend who was always enjoyable and fun to be with. Her laughter and being an encouragement to others I will always remember and cherish. Sympathy to Frank and family as they learn to continue without her. We can rejoice she is free from pain and suffering and I like to think she is reunited with those who have gone before her.

She was my 5th grade teacher at Bell Elementary in Tulsa, Ok. To this day, she was my favorite teacher of all time. I cried on my last day of school. She was an amazing woman and she sure did love her Steelers.
