Mrs. Estes was the best teacher I ever had, she will be dearly missed. She had a very distinct perfume smell and to this day when I smell it I think of her. She gave the best hugs and was so kind and funny and helped me get through my nerves in first grade. I will always remember her. RIP

Everyone has that one teacher they remember as their favorite. For soo many of us that is Mrs. Estes. Even those who were in a different class remember and love her. She always looked and smelled wonderful, had the patience of a saint & the smile to ease any 1st graders nerves. Everyone from Kennedy Elementary will remember her always. My condolences to her family and friends.
