I don’t know if anyone will see this since Mrs. Estes passed a few years ago. Mrs. Dee Dee Estes was my First grade teacher! Honestly she was my favorite teacher out of 12 years of school and college. She had the best art projects, we would dress up for Halloween and she had an old record player and we would listen to wesome records and she had. Contagious laugh. She had this perfume that I have only smelled on her and one other time. I wish I knew what it was. Over the years if I was in a same store and I noticed that exact scent, I knew she was there before I saw her. It was the most beautiful smell. It’s my strongest memory ever in my life. I was just thinking about her perfume and it thought I would google Mrs. Estes to see if I could find her. I am so sad to see she had passed. I’m actually picking my son up from high school and I’m sitting her typing to her family crying. It’s funny how certain people can come and go in your life but you hold fond memories and even though it’s been over 25 years since I’ve seen her, this breaks my heart. I am so sorry for your loss. She was 1 in 7 billion. Love you Mrs. Dee Dee Estes :)
