Larry James Crowe, 69, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on May 6, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on December 21, 1956, he was the beloved son of the late Palma and James Crowe.

Larry was a 1975 graduate of Washington High School and earned his associate degree from DeVry Technical Institute in 1978. He eventually retired from the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute, where he served for many years as a Network Administrator.

He was the devoted husband of Christine Crowe, with whom he built a life centered on family and shared adventures. A dedicated father, he is survived by his son, Justin (Courtney) Crowe, and his daughter, Ashleigh Crowe. He was a proud and doting grandfather to six grandchildren: Logan, Madison, and Gavin Crowe, and Lilah, Maizie, and Nash Deyell.

Larry also leaves behind his sister, Anita (Brian) Burdette, his cousin Civie (Kathy) Felice, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Known for his wonderful sense of humor, Larry had a way of bringing laughter to those around him. A true outdoorsman, he found peace on the water, whether he was fishing, boating, or kayaking. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and held a deep appreciation for all genres of music. Above all, he found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, especially during his treasured trips to the Gulf side of Florida beaches.

Larry will be remembered for his kind spirit, his laughter, and his passion for the simple joys of life.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, May 29th, from 12:30 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Washington, PA.
