Larry Weiss passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and deep love for the people and simple joys that filled his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol A. Weiss, and his mother-in-law, Anna May Bajcic.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Lisa; his sister, Cambria (Norm) Rathke; his father-in-law, Peter Bajcic; his sister-in-law, Barbara Bajcic Crescenzo (Steve Crescenzo); his beloved godson, Griffin Mickail; and a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Larry found happiness in life’s meaningful moments, especially the time he spent in Ocean City, Maryland, a place that brought him peace, joy, and many treasured memories. He also deeply valued the special bond he shared with Griffin, creating countless memories filled with laughter, love, and care.
He had a deep love for dogs and always found companionship and comfort in their presence. A passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Larry rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team and share that enthusiasm with family and friends. He was also known for his incredible cooking, particularly his unforgettable buffalo wings and signature blue cheese dip, which became staples at family gatherings and celebrations.
Larry will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A brief prayer service will be held at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
