Lawrence Joseph Krutules

Lawrence Joseph Krutules,  age 81, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024. Born on May 1, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Joseph and Leona Krutules.

Lawrence was a devoted husband to the late Roberta Krutules who he recently lost in September.  He was the loving father to their son, Lawrence J. Krutules II (Christine) and he was a beloved uncle to whom he was very close to, Leonora VanHulten (Georgeann Cochran). Grandfather to  four grandchildren: Angelina Hazel (Michael), US Army Sgt Naythan Krutules, Alexys Krutules, and Nickolaos Krutules. Great grandfather to Cooper Hazel. Brother to the late Kenny Krutules. Uncle to many nieces in nephews. Also survived by his dog, bad boy Dexter.

Lawrence had a passion for building puzzles, often spending hours immersed in intricate designs and colorful pieces. He found joy in the challenge and satisfaction of completing each puzzle, a reflection of his patient and thoughtful nature. Lawrence was a dedicated family man. He cherished every moment with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His warmth and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
