Leith Donahoe Jenco, age 78, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, with her children and grandchildren by her side.
Born on October 6, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James and Ellenjane Donahoe.
Leith attended Thomas Jefferson High School and Point Park University, where she played basketball. She taught elementary school in the Baldwin School District until she retired.
Leith dedicated her life to caring for others, as a devoted teacher, a loyal friend, and a loving mother and grandmother. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, patience, and compassionate spirit. Her friends knew her to be genuine, empathetic, and a bit mischievous. Her family was always at the center of her life, and she took immense pride in the love and support she gave to her children and grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Leith created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and encouragement, leaving behind cherished memories that her family will carry forever.
Leith is survived by her loving children, Lindsay Jenco, Garen Jenco, and Lacey Jenco. She was the cherished grandmother of Saige, Oakley, and Mirik Jenco, and sister of James Donahoe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, George Jenco, and her beloved son, Gerik Jenco.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held, but a celebration of her life will be scheduled later this summer. She will be cremated and her remains will be shared among her children and grandchildren.
Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
