Leo Petrone

Leo Petrone, age 75, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born to the late Mary and Leo Petrone, Leo was a devoted husband to Barbara Petrone, with whom he shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to Chris (Kayleigh) Petrone and a cherished grandfather to Sutton, Levi, Archie, and Ezra, who brought him immense joy. He was the dear brother of the late Pat Petrone; Uncle of niece, Taylor Petrone.

Leo had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He enjoyed riding around on his tractor and took great pride in his work as a heavy machinery operator. His creativity flourished in his woodshop, where he crafted beautiful pieces that will be treasured by his family for years to come. Leo was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved spending Sundays watching Steelers games with his son, and golfing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
