Leonard E. Dalke age 91, of Carnegie passed away peacefully on March 18, 2018.
Born on June 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Matilda and Gustav Dalke.
He was the beloved husband of Anita Dalke for 43 years and the late Irene Zaborowski Dalke; loving father of Patricia (George) Wagner and Diana (Robert Jr.) Cook; dear step father of Thomas Metzger and George Metzger; cherished grandfather of Weston (Carrie), Tyler (Lindsay), Kayla (Wade), Nathan, Olivia (David), and Tommy; adored great grandfather of Samuel, Emma, and Elizabeth; dear brother of the late Lillian Kazura; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Leonard enjoyed camping and traveling with his RV, especially to the beach. He liked anything with wheels, he even rode a Harley from St. Louis, where he was stationed back to Pittsburgh on numerous occasions. He was a proud US Veteran who served in the US Air Corps, serving during World War II.
A service will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Full Military Honors.
