Linda Knox Roberts, age 84, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026.
Born on November 22, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Howard Knox Sr. and Amy Knox.
Linda was the beloved companion of Ralph DePalma. She was a devoted mother to Knox Thompson and Todd Thompson, and a proud grandmother of two. She is preceded in death by her brother Skip Knox, and is survived by sister-in-law, Lois Knox and niece Amy Knox.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Mt. Lebanon and a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School. She continued her education at Sullins Junior College and the University of Pittsburgh. An entrepreneur at heart, Linda opened her first “Kidding Around” toy store in Sewickley, where she specialized in imported toys. She later expanded her business with a second location in the Galleria Mall, enjoying a successful and fulfilling 30-year career.
Linda found her greatest joy in spending time with her longtime companion Ralph, their beloved dog Ellis, her children, and grandchildren. She cherished her many friendships and especially enjoyed gathering with friends over lunch.
Friends are welcome for a memorial service on August 29, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1066 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228.
