Lisa Doherty, 60, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 4, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1964, to the late Norma Barkhurst and Charles Kelly in Pittsburgh, where she spent her life surrounded by the people she loved most.

Lisa was the devoted mother of Kimberly (Haley) Doherty, Brandy (Jordan) Doherty, and Alex “The Golden Child” (Jes) Lawrence, and a proud grandmother to Alissa (Bill), Abigail, and Ellie. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Malikai, who brought her endless joy. A dear sister, Lisa is survived by her sisters Lori (Dan) Linda, and Kimberly, as well as beloved Aunt Deb. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and generosity.

Lisa was preceded in death by her brother James, whom she loved dearly. Family was the center of Lisa’s universe, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting those around her. Her love knew no bounds, and she will be remembered for her kind heart and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

Lisa found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed gambling, watching game shows, shopping, and her frequent visits to Walgreens and Dollar General. She had a knack for finding delight in everyday moments.

Family and Friends will be celebrating Lisa’s life Friday September 6, 2024 at 7:00 pm at The Hollywood Casino at the Meadows. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA. Lisa’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their love and support during this difficult time.

Lisa will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a blessing.
