I was at the Galleria yesterday and I cried when I realized I couldn’t go to visit Lois. She was such a special lady and the matriarch of our congregation. One of my daughters often said that when she grew up, she wanted to be Lois. When we asked members for their favorite hymns, Lois’ said “Have You Thanked the Lord.” That is how she lived her life. She never put herself first and though she was suffering from back pain, she never complained. Lois’ family was a powerful reflection of her. They cared for her until the end. You are a testimony to the love we need to share with one another. You are now in our Lord’s loving arms, free from all mortal pains, Lois. You will be missed, my friend. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Lois was an incredible lady, whom I have been blessed to know my entire life thru Holy Trinity. Though she was 96, she could outrun us all. She was young at heart and so incredibly friendly. I will miss you my friend. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. I love you ❤
