Lois Peacock Morton

Lois Peacock Morton 95 of Washington Pa passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022 at home with her two sons at her side.

She was born on March 12, 1927 in Carnegie Pa and is the Daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Peacock.

In 1945 she graduated from Washington High School.  On October 20, 1957,  She married Stanley Francis Morton Jr and had a very happy marriage till Stan’s passing in 1988.

She was a member of the Church of the Covenant, an avid bridge player, loved musicals and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her sons Scott Morton and Paul Morton, and Daughter in-law Zuli Morton.

Three grandchildren oldest to youngest; Eileen(Eric) Welter, David(Candice) Colon and Joel Morton formerly Haylee.

Two great grandchildren: Abigail Louise Welter and Lillian Denise Welter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her, daughter Beth and granddaughter Casey.

Services are private.  In lieu of flowers, donations my can be made to hospice of Washington County.
