Lorraine Elizabeth Lennon (Lori)

Lorraine Elizabeth Lennon (Lori), beloved daughter of Edward Sweeney and the late Sharron Sweeney, entered this world on March 12, 1968, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her journey on this earth came to a peaceful end on June 21, 2024, in Finleyville, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the love of her family. Lori bravely battled illness with unwavering strength and grace.

Lori was fearless and not easily intimidated or deterred by challenges. Her reliance was remarkable. She was a motherly figure for many others and cared for so many as if they were her own. If you were lucky to have met Lori, she was brave and persevered in the toughest of times.

In her passing, Lori is preceded by her dear mother, Sharron Sweeney, her loving son Eric Lennon, and her sister Victoria Romano. Although they have gone before her, their spirits will forever live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved them.

Lori leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will never be forgotten. She is survived by, her beloved son Ernest Harris (Kasie Houston) her dear sisters Lucia Lennon Spangler, and Patricia (Michael ) Gardner and beloved brother Michael (Nannette) Sweeney, as well as her loving grandchildren Aubriana, Antonio, Ernest III and Kahaza. Their lives have been touched by Lori’s presence, and they will carry her memory with them always.

As we mourn the loss of Lori, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

A memorial service to honor and remember Lori Lennon will be held at a later date. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was cherished beyond measure and will never be forgotten.
