Louis Anthony Locante

Louis Anthony Locante, age 59, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2024. Born on July 17, 1965 in Pittsburgh, PA, he is the son of Peter Locante and Jo Ann Ricci.

Loving father of Chelsea (Phillip) DiFilippo and Jakob (Ashley) Locante; Beloved brother of Valerie (Michael Lillis) Locante; Grandfather to Fia Anastasia and Nicca Donata; Half sibling to Nicole (Donny) Lohr and Phillip (Bri) Locante.

Louis was known for his talkative nature, love of music, and boundless energy, always ready with a joke, a story, or a word of encouragement. His laughter was infectious, and his warm heart made everyone feel welcome and valued. He was a ray of sunshine with a special ability to light up a room, bringing comfort to those around him with his kindness and genuine care. A die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan, Louis wore his team’s colors with pride, especially on game days when he could be found surrounded by friends and family.

Above all, Louis was a devoted father. His children were the center of his world, and nothing gave him greater joy than spending time with them. Proud of their accomplishments and always supportive, he made sure they knew they were loved beyond measure. Louis’s family meant everything to him, and his dedication to them will continue to be felt in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, McMurray (3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, 15317). A celebration of Louis’s life will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the funeral home, followed by a burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
