Lynda S. Bunner, of Amity, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026.

Born on November 9, 1949, in Waynesburg, Lynda was the daughter of the late Marjorie and Wayne Martin.

Lynda was the beloved wife of Patrick Bunner. She was a cherished mother to Brian (Kathy) Allen, Branden (Danielle) Allen, and Brent Allen. She was a devoted grandmother to Meredith, Grace, Cameron, Liam, Elias, and Garrett, all of whom brought great joy to her life. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Noretta Martin.

Lynda dedicated many years of service to Washington Hospital, where she worked for 16 years. After that, she worked from home for 10 years.

She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved fur baby, Hannah. Lynda treasured time spent with her husband and family. She also enjoyed camping and took great pride in working in the yard and caring for her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society in Lynda’s memory.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat and family. I was SO SAD to hear about Lynda passing. When I first got my bid to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, I would see Lynda and she was so excited for me and would tell me what a great place it was. We did have some good times! I stayed there for 17 years. She was missed when she left. My deepest sympathy to you all. 💔 Cheryl Green
