Lynne K. Patton

Lynne K. Patton, 72 of Carrick, died as a result of a fire in her home on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Born on April 28, 1952 in Pittsburgh, she is the daughter of Marion “Pat” Patton and Marion Mackey Patton and stepdaughter of Jeanne Gant Patton, who are all deceased.

Surviving is her son, Sean Notman of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Robert A. Patton of Mifflinburg, PA, and George M. Patton of Grants Pass, OR; a sister, Wendi J. Taylor of Camp Hill, PA; a sister-in-law, Sharon Notman Howell of Coraopolis, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

For years Lynne worked at Eat’n Park while attending Allegheny Community College and the University of Pittsburgh. Later she worked as a cataloger for libraries at Chatham College and Carnegie Mellon University. She was the collector of things she loved: books, movies, stamps and Star Trek memorabilia.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Northside Pittsburgh at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to your local library. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
