My beautiful Gemma!! She had an unmatched eye for fashion and interior design. I was always in awe of how beautifully my grandparents’ home was decorated. She had a way of constantly adding thoughtful touches that truly elevated the space. I’ll miss her randomly trying to speak French. I’ll miss showing her my hair after appointments and her teasing me for pronouncing “balayage” wrong (I was actually right, she was wrong lol). I’ll miss her reminding me to use a spaghetti spoon, or calling to make sure my front door is locked. Most of all, I’ll miss her calls. Her voice was so soothing, silk-like. She loved everyone unconditionally. Her laugh was contagious, and her smile is something I’ll never forget. She was so thoughtful and caring. Truly meant to be a grandmother, I feel so lucky that she was mine. Gemma - I love you so much, you are my everything. I can’t wait to see you again🤍
