Maddox James Rohar, age 2, lost his battle to Leigh Syndrome on March 20, 2022. He was born on August 16, 2019 to his loving parents Anna (Downey) Rohar and Dylan Rohar.

Cherished grandson to John and Sherry Downey, Tim and Sue Rohar and Bruce and Lori Lubic. Loving great grandson to Nancy Deurbrouck, L. Wayne Maddox, and James C. Downey. Dear nephew to James (Amanda) Downey, Jill Downey (Rodney) Johnson, Madalyn Rohar (Brandon) Dodd, and Jake, Cody and Owen Lubic. Loving cousin to Collin and Hadley Downey, Glenna and Myra Johnson, and Calvin and Aubrey Dodd. Maddox was preceded in death by his great grandparents Barbara Downey, Glenda Maddox, Paul and Mary Pat Rohar and Albert Deurbrouck.

Maddox was strong, brave, and never stopped smiling.  A well-traveled two-year-old, Maddox got to visit 15 states enjoying sunny beaches, snowy mountains, vast deserts and canyons.  His favorite trip was to visit his pal, Mickey Mouse enjoying all the rides and lights.  In addition to the best love and care from his family, Maddox was always comforted by snuggles from his dog Penny.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 11 AM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. Casual attire preferred.
