Margaret Ann Maguire (Maggie) 45 years old of Robinson Township sadly passed away on Tuesday, August 3rd.

She was born in Austin Texas, January 3rd 1976. As a young child she ‘could do no wrong’ with her uber cute chubby cheeks – often strangers would stop her and ask for a squeeze of her cheeks. As a beautiful statuesque teenager, she was even scouted by a local modeling agency (but parents refused to sign), at age 17 she volunteered as a candy striper assisting the elderly at Reading Hospital (Reading, PA), as a child Maggie grew up in Texas, Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana and Georgia, as well as England (4.5 years in elementary school) – whilst being part of a military family, she loved reading books, caring for her two dogs, fishing and camping. She had a natural inner beauty that was far greater than her outer beauty.

Maggie worked as a License Compliance Specialist at Ansys, Inc. for nearly 20 years and was proud of her accomplishments. She took great pride in all the of the company’s achievements and successes. She greatly cherished her dearest true friends and colleagues who lovingly supported and routed for her throughout her life and career.

She loved watching comedy, popular series and going to the movies. She had a great love of travelling around the world including but not limited to Europe, Asia, Australia and the Caribbean. She specially loved to join her family and friend trips to Walt Disney World (especially spoiling her niece).

Survived by her mother Noi Maguire (married April 16th 1970), her sisters Cathleen Hancock and Jane Maguire, her in-laws Neil J. Hancock, Trish Esquivel-Maguire and her loving companion Justin Protin. Also survived by her young niece Jeannie Calista Lesley Hancock, Aunt Jane F. Mosack, and Aunt Ann O’Malley (family).

Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved father and best friend Bill Maguire, nearly a year and a half ago. She was a true Angel in life and no doubt continues to be the family’s Angel in death.

Those who were fortunate to know her will miss her smile, giving heart, sweetness, kindness, generosity and classic style. She defined what having empathy for others truly means and is proven by the positive mark she has left on every family and friend she ever touched.

No funeral service will be held. The family is grateful for the positive lights gifted us when she was alive and continues to do during her passing. The family is doing their best to move past the sadness, by celebrating her life in every way and every day. they all will continue to travel the world with Maggie alongside them in spirit/ashes- together with her beloved father and best friend Bill.

Please share a favorite memory you have of Maggie with the family online guestbook at pittsburghcremation.com or Facebook.

Oh Maggie, our baby girl. To not hear your sweet voice and see that great smile has left a hole in my heart. A beautiful girl who grew into a beautiful woman! You worked so hard taking care of your father in his last years must of earned you a brighter halo in heaven. You were an angel on earth and now one in heaven. You will be missed by so many. All my love sweetheart. Aunt Janie
