Marie E. Finnegan

Marie E. Finnegan, 95, of Castle Shannon, PA formerly of Clairton, PA passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1930 in Clairton, PA the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Finnegan.

Loving mother to Mary Supernovich, Jay (LeeAnn) Sparks, and Elizabeth (David) Bielski;  Beloved sister to Joseph Finnegan, Edward Finnegan, Caroline Boyle, Rita Hillwig, John Finnegan, Elizabeth Bitzer, and Bernard Finnegan; Grandmother to Robert, Eric, and Sarah Sparks, Kimberly Collins, Kelly Hathaway, and Brian Bielski; Great-grandmother to thirteen great-grandchildren; She is also survived by many neices and nephews, and held a special place in her heart for her dear friend, Rose Hanna, whose friendship meant so much to her over the years.

Marie found joy in the simple pleasures that brought people together such as playing cards, a good game of Tuesday night bingo, and occasional trips to the Meadows Casino (only when she won). A devoted sports fan, she loved watching Pittsburgh teams and never missed the excitement of stock car races and horse races. Above all else, Marie treasured her family. She was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her deep happiness and purpose. Time spent with family was her greatest joy, and her love and pride were felt by all who knew her.
