Marie Eleanor Galligan

Marie Eleanor Galligan, 81, of Bethel Park Pennsylvania, calmly passed away in her sleep on May 27, 2017 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Marie was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Henry and Eleanor Schreiber on September 28, 1935. She went to high school at Scranton Central and graduated in 1953. She attended Cedar Crest College and Lackawanna Junior College. She enjoyed reading and was a long time member of Nemacolin Country Club where #19 was her favorite hole. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and sharing in the accomplishments of her grandchildren.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Eleanor Schreiber. She is survived by her husband Donald; brothers William and Peter Schreiber; sons Jeffrey (Joanne), Scott (Carlene) and Steve (Kelly); grandsons Andrew, Zachary and Grant; granddaughters Emma, Kate, Audrey and Morgan.

A private memorial service is currently being planned.
