Marilyn Ferline

Marilyn Jean Ferline, born December 26, 1933 in Swissvale, PA, to Chet and Mineroda Wallace passed away on August 18, 2024 at the age of 90. Marilyn married John Ferline in 1955 and is survived by their four daughters: Robbyn (Chris) Snyder, Lori Flores, Shari(Greg Ceccatti) Ferline and Susan Ferline. She is also survived by ten grandchildren (Jillian Haney, Zach Snyder, Kiersten Snyder, Luke Flores, Meg Flores, Chuck McClure, Kyle McClure, Ethan McClure, Julia Ferline and Grace Ferline), two great grandchildren (Liliana and Charlie McClure) plus one on the way, her sister Bev Schonbachler as well as nieces, nephews, stepchildren and step grandchildren. She is predeceased by her ex-husband John Ferline, husband Don McCarthy and son-in-law Charles McClure.

Marilyn could strike up a conversation with anyone and loved dancing, traveling, shopping, playing games, volunteering, getting together with friends and family, and living for many years in California with Don. She was a patient and kind mother and a thoughtful and indulgent grandma who left us with many happy memories. She will be dearly missed.

There will be no viewing and her family will hold a small celebration of life event in October, complete with all of her favorite foods and tons of desserts and board games.
