Mark W. Garbart “Gabby”

Mark W. Garbart “Gabby”, age 73, of Monessen, PA, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 2, 2024.
Born on December 29, 1950, he was the son of the late Jane and James Garbart Sr.
He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Jo Garbart; loving father of Melissa (Art Benoit) Nangle; Pap of 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; dear brother of Thomas (the late Linda) Garbart of Indiana, Ed (Phylis) Garbart of Arizona, Anne (the late Jerry) Pado of Indiana, Jim (Karen) Garbart of Pennsylvania, Pat (Jamie) Garbart of Pennsylvania the late Claire Beach; Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mark was the ultimate jokester, always ready with a witty remark or a playful antic to brighten someone’s day. His silliness and infectious smile were his trademarks, and he had an unparalleled gift for making others laugh, even in the toughest moments.

An avid music lover, Mark cherished his extensive vinyl collection, spending countless hours immersed in the sounds of his favorite artists. On Sundays, you could find him cheering for his favorite football team, savoring every moment of the game. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
