Marlene Ostroskie

Marlene Ostroskie, age 74, originally of West Deer Township, PA passed away peacefully on March 15, 2022. Born on October 11, 1947, she was the daugther of the late Robert and Rose Uchic. Beloved wife to Edward Ostroskie for 13 years. Loving mother to Mark (Melissa) Palmer. Cherished grandmother to Michael and Morgan Palmer. Loving sister to Diane (Robert) Beighley, Robert Uchic, and Janice (Richard) Scherba. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.

Marlene was a real estate agent for many years. Throughout her life, Marlene had a deep faith and was extremely resilient during her hardships, especially her battle with Parkinson’s for the last 9 years.  She enjoyed traveling and cherished the time she spent with her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She also loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Later in life, she enjoyed her community and visiting with neighbors. Marlene will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
