Martha Sue Lingis

Martha Sue Lingis, age 79, of Vestaburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 23, 2026.

Martha was born on January 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Housel). She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Charles Lingis, who preceded her in death.

She was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Mary Lingis. Martha was also preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth Housel, Frances Lorraine Kerley, Melba Patricia Kerley, and Florence Fasshauer. She is survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Martha was an avid reader who found joy in books and learning. A caregiver at heart, she dedicated her life to caring for her family as a devoted stay-at-home mother and by lovingly supporting other family members whenever she was needed. Her kindness, quiet strength, and selfless nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Martha will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
