Mary A. Slimick

Mary A. Slimick, age 95 of Lawrence, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Born on June 19, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lila and Peter Slimick. Cherished sister to Ralph Slimick. Dear aunt to John Slimick and loving cousin to Julie (Jim) Baumburger. Mary was the loving aunt to Karen Luther, Janet Collins, Doug Slimick, John Slimick, Tina Sohl and Donna Sohl. Dear friend to Cheryl and Sue. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Franklin and Peter Slimick Jr.

Mary loved the Lord and music and animals were her passion. She played the piano whenever she could and was always singing. Mary was an avid reader and she will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 6 PM at Faith Chapel, 9 Lawerence Street, Lawrence, PA 15055. Internment will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Cremation and Funearl Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546.
