Mary Alice Fielding

Mary Alice (Foley) Fielding of McMurray, formerly of Bethel Park died peacefully on January 11, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born November 28,1928 in Erie, PA. She graduated from Villa Maria Academy in Erie in 1947. She then went onto nursing school and  worked in NYC at Sloan Kettering Hospital and then in Los Angeles, CA at Los Angeles General Hospital. She then attended Officers Candidate School while in the United States Air Force where she earned the rank of 1st Lieutenant and met her late husband Walter. They married in 1961. She had a love of playing the piano, reading about American history and animals. She will be greatly missed by her three children Matthew Fielding of Pittsburgh, Mary (Richard) Christie of New Jersey, Douglas (Roberta) Fielding of Venetia and grandson Alex and step grandchildren Sam, Josh and Emma.

Burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM with full Military Honors.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
