Mary “Cassie” Cassandra Hissom

Mary “Cassie” Cassandra Hissom from Imperial, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:27 pm in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born June 29, 1990 at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh to William F. Hissom and Joanne E. Russell Hissom of Imperial.
She was the granddaughter of James and Sandra Russell of Clinton and the
Late William K. And Mary Skvarj Hissom.

Cassie was a graduate of West Allegheny High School and from there she went on to earn her LPN license on October 11, 2012 and then she decided to get her RN license and graduated and was licensed from Nursing School on June 13, 2014.
Cassie worked at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh on the Neurological Floor until she became so ill that she was unable to work any longer.
She loved her animals. There wasn’t an animal that she came in contact with that she didn’t love. She loved shopping and had a sweet tooth. She absolutely loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, they were really her world. She left a lasting impression on anyone she met.

She is survived by her mother, Joanne E. Hissom. Her brothers William J.(Gabby Jeffers) Hissom and Gary Butera both of Imperial. Her sister and best friend, Rachel Cross of Cecil. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents. She had many nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and all who loved her. She is also survived by her best friend since Kindergarten, Ashley Bothell of Clinton.

She is preceded in death by her father, William F. Hissom, her paternal Aunt Ruth Ann Hissom and her paternal grandparents.

She will be terribly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Oriole Pavilion in the Clinton Community Park, 86 Clinton Park Drive, Imperial, PA 15126
