Mary E. Salaske

Mary E. Salaske, age 95, of Finleyville, PA, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Born on November 30, 1930, in New Eagle, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Seaman and Rebecca Snow.

Mary lived a life centered on family, love, and simple joys. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, she found her greatest happiness in the people she loved. Her children and grandchildren were the true treasures of her life, and she never missed an opportunity to make them feel special. Whether through a warm hug, words of encouragement, or one of her delicious homemade treats, Mary had a way of making everyone feel loved and cared for.

She was known for her love of baking and was happiest when sharing her creations with family and friends. Mary also enjoyed bowling and spending time with those she loved. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in spoiling them whenever she could. A loyal Pittsburgh sports fan, she especially enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates and following their seasons through the years.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Salaske; her sisters, Edna Block and Shirley Snow; and her brother, John Snow.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever, including her daughters, Karen (Jim) Tustin and Linda (David) Rupinsky; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Shannon) Park, Jayme (Vlad) Martiuk, Louie Rupinsky, and Nicole (Ken) Stroer; and her brothers, Don (the late Carrie) Snow and Ron Snow.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00 am at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA. Inurnment will follow at Finleyville Cemetery.
